Austin locals Lin Boyd and Kelton McMillan met as paramedics for Lockhart EMS where they became partners on the ambulance. Boyd founded Splash over 10 years ago, working the swimming pool service route as a side gig during his off time as a paramedic. In 2018, Kelton became co-owner of the company after retiring from the EMS.

Since the start of Splash, the company has grown from servicing only a few pools to now serving over 100 pool route clients. Boyd and Kelton share a passion for proper water chemistry, water conservation, and water filtration. Having worked as paramedics, both Boyd and Kelton are uniquely skilled in problem-solving and attention to detail. They are committed to servicing the pools’ basic needs, while also improving the overall water quality and swimming experience.
